“We have seen this program with Mchelle, provide our youth workers, team leaders and senior management, who provide care on a daily basis for children living in out of home care and their families, a valuable resources and new learning that will help us to keep providing care. The course and toolbox resources are fantastic and should be made available to all carers. I have spent 20 years in the child protection sector and wish these resources had been available to me sooner. Michelle and her team are supportive all the way.”

Meet Your Guide
Hi, I'm Michelle Black, the Founder of Inner Resonance Global, a senior consultant, registered clinical counsellor, and PhD Candidate at the Queensland Brain Institute, The University of Queensland, where her research examines the autonomic nervous system through a polyvagal lens for children and adolescents with Down syndrome.
For the past decade I have worked across the full system that surrounds a child; the child, the caregivers, and the organisation; guiding teams through practice and leadership of care frameworks that make consistent, regulated care possible. Before this work, I spent over twenty years in executive leadership across the corporate and education sectors, an experience that shapes how I partner with organisations today: clinically grounded, fluent in strategic and operational reality.
